Tim Weaver

Education:

Tim Weaver holds a BA from the University of New Mexico and a MBA from California Lutheran University where he serves as a full professor teaching organizational development and finance.

Professional History:

Tim’s 40-year banking career, 21 in SBA lending, makes him uniquely qualified to serve as Banks & Associates’ banking specialist. He has taken three banks to SBA preferred status, the highest lending authority in which banks can commit without SBA concurrence. In 2008, he received the Los Angeles SBA District Office’s prestigious Financial Services Champion award.

He is Chief Credit Officer for the Valley Economic Development Company’s SBA 7(a) Community Advantage Lending Program. He serves as Director of Small Business Finance, an SBA Certified Development Company and the third largest SBA 504 lender in California.

Tim is married with two children and three grandchildren. He is President-elect of Thousand Oaks Rotary. His hobbies include walking refereeing soccer for AYSO and being involved with his grandchildren.
